The first participants have crossed the finish line and we have a winner! John Kristian Dahl from Team United Bakeries, Norway were first in crossing the finish line with a time of 8 hours, 35 minutes and 17 seconds. As 2016’s Vasaloppet winner, he proved himself to be hard to beat at longer distances as well. Just behind him were Anders Aukland and team mate Øyvind Moen Fjeld, both from Team Santander, Norway.
Female winner is Lina Korsgren who finished at 9 hours, 23 minutes and 55 seconds, followed closely by Britta Johansson Norgren.

The first Swede to cross the finish line were Jörgen Brink who finished with the time 8 hours, 36 minutes and 46 seconds.
